Introduction to Fidgens

Although most of our commissions are centered around London we have been responsible for a comprehensive diversity of projects throughout the United Kingdom and overseas, ranging from small building works to multi-million pound developments. Projects recently executed include offices, residential buildings, Industrial parks, courts, educational and leisure facilities, health facilities, military installations, warehouse and distribution facilities. Many of the projects recently undertaken have been to listed buildings.

Additionally, the practice continually seeks to maintain its use of the latest technology; its offices are fully computerised and new advances are continually monitored to ascertain whether they may be of benefit.

The current scope of projects ranges from £50,000 to £12 million and includes new build, refurbishment and fitting out works.

The Team

The Partnership is led by John Berridge assisted by a team of surveyors and administration assistants. Together we provide a full Quantity Surveying service, encompassing feasibility studies, estimating and cost planning, contractual and procurement/tendering advice, as well as Specification and Bills of Quantities production, post contract cost control, and project management. We are also able to provide the Specialist services of CDM Co-ordinator and Capital Allowance Consultancy.

The aim of the practice is to provide a professional and flexible approach to the provision of Quantity Surveying and Costs Consultancy Services within the construction and property sectors.
